Workshop Impressions

I'm spending one week at the beautiful Lake Constance (German part) to attend a workshop with Gerhard Almbauer. He's a great artist an teacher and we're doing large-size acrylic abstract paintings. I've taken a class with him before, this week now is titled "Earth - Sand - Rust". Doesn't that sound interesting?

Just a few snapshots, I'll post more work in progress pictures and information once I'm back home.

    1. Hi Maria - I know what you mean regarding the comfort zone. Even though abstracts is my 'first love', it still can feel rather intimidating whan tackeling a new technique... But also very liberating!

    1. Kelley! - I'd love to see you do acrylics. Even abstracts? I think you'd take to it easily and you'd love them!
Hmm... let me know when you decide to give them a go!

    1. It IS fun, but it can also be soooo confusing. As you do not have a clear idea of where the painting will take you, it's really difficult to know if you've arrive there on not yet... I'll post some more soon.
