She left Hilton Head Island surrounded by her entourage...She is definitely NOT 'just Jenny from the block'..."

It was soooo much fun painting Jennifer's mug shot - though for at least 80% of the time I was absolutely sure I'd have to wipe everything off and start again. Why? I painted on a bright cad red board. Fitting for 'J.Lo', but so confusing at times! And then suddenly I did something 'right' and everything fell into place.
And of course the profile shot was a first as well...
Love this Regula! Profiles intimidate me so I am glad I was forced to do one. I love the loose brush strokes you use. You make it look effortless! This challenge is so much fun!
ReplyDeleteRegula, this is fantastic! You really nailed JLo! Beautifully painted .... especially for a foreigner! :-D
ReplyDeleteWow! You made me look so much better than I do. Of course, I love it. I thought it would be weird painting oneself but then it becomes shapes and values, like painting upside down.
ReplyDeleteGreat job, Regula. Chris Werst
ReplyDeleteThis looks great Regula! I love your style.
ReplyDeleteI just did mine last night. It was fun - especially the hair. I think you really captured her essence. Nice.
ReplyDeleteI think you did a GREAT job! She looks tough, like a mug shot should! IRL she is very sweet, but, hey, we had to look tough for the mugshots..
